Tree Plantation Inauguration

On 25.09.2011 Inaugural program of Tree Plantation was held in St, Martha’s Hall,Salem. Mr. BalPakki Krishnan Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA), Omalur Taluk Preside over the function and Mr.Govinthan, Panchayat union councilor of Kadayampatty facilitated the program. Mr. Renganathan, Director VRDP briefed the objective of the program. Mr.Thiruman, Tamilaga Adivasi Amaipukalain Kuttamaipu- President, Mr. Antony Micheal-Salem Association, Mr. Mr.Ganesan, Former State President of TAAK. Mr.Venu, Regional Convenor, Jesul. Mr. Vimalanathan, District Resource Person, Tree Saplings were distributed for plantation and Climate change impacts and American Forests’ support in addressing the crisis were oriented to them.
